Annual Renewable Energy Report

The electricity usage for the 2023 calendar year was 34185 kWh. Of that, 12648 kWh or 37% of the electricity  was generated from Class I Renewable Portfolio Standards.

The electricity usage for the 2024 calendar year was 260005 kWh. Of that, 9621 kWh or 37% of the electricity  was generated from Renewable Energy per CT’s mandatory renewable energy certificate requirements. 

Of the total, 28% of the energy came from Class I renewables, 4% came from Class II renewables, and 5% came from Class III renewables. Class I renewables consist of solar, hydroelectric, wind and fuel-cell derived sources. Class II renewables consist of trash-to-energy sources.  While Class III renewables consist of conbined heat and power facilities and other energy efficiency projects.
